Literature, More or Less
A Short Story Collection
by Eikyo Matsunaga (松長英京)
$3.99
Eikyo Matsunaga strives to create the world's most avant-garde literature. This is his creative ambition.
Literature, More or Less is the English edition of his Japanese short-story collection 一応、文学です。. His fiction treats absurd everyday situations with complete seriousness: a clinic prescribes rice instead of medicine, and restaurant customers prepare their own meals.
Having compared his own writing with AI-generated fiction, he seeks a distinctive human literary voice. For him, writing as a human being is a form of resistance in the age of AI.
